the power of moving the intellect or emotions
This website is dedicated to stories  from everyday people just like you.  Out of trials and tests, come some of our best moments, our God moments,  made possible through the power of the Holy Spirit.
". . . but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

If you would like to share your in story, please click on the Submit A Story tab to the left.

We are seeking life changing or life defining moments in your life.  Our mission is to inspire the reader or challenge the reader to action by providing  real life stories.  These stories are about people in need of help to survive a disease or illness with donations to either this site or designated sites.  These stories are also about those steadfast spirits who have been delivered by God's grace and wish to share how God  changed their lives, given them another chance at life, helped them overcome some tragic event or trial, or simply helped someone in need all by the grace of God.

Along with your stories, we intend to include your photo if you would like and any other images that will depict and report your story.

The stories can be moving, heroic, humorous, eye opening, etc. but also inspirational so that others can be moved and experience how God is changing or has changed or affected your life.

No advertising is planned for this website.  If you would like to contribute to the success of this endeavor, please click on the donate tab to the left.  Your donations will be used to offset the administrative costs of operating this site.  Future plans include the possibilities of providing scholarships for students with their own inspirational stories.  Learn more about these plans on the Donate page and give us your suggestions.  Thank you for your contributions.

Your input will be greatly appreciated since this is a work in progress just like our lives are works in progress.  As we grow, we hope you will be inspired to grow and learn and experience others God Moments!

and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

Words of Hope for the New Year!

I came across a wonderful New Year's Commitment from Thelma Wells, a coauthor in the Women of Faith Daily Devotional. Her "Instructions for a New Year" are the January 3rd devotional.  I wanted to share Mrs. Wells word with you --

Devotion--
Devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
Colossians 4:2

Wisdom--
Show wisdom by your good life, by deeds done in the humanity that comes from wisdom.  The wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
James 3: 13, 17

Blessings--
I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.   Psalm 34:1
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
Psalm 103: 1-2

The scripture quotations are from the new International Version of the Bible according to the information in the book.  The Women of Faith Daily Devotional is a Zondervan publication if you are interested in this daily devotional.

Starting the New Year by spending some time each day with a good daily devotion and the Bible will help you center your life around God and learn more about his will for you. Other daily devotionals that I have found helpful in my daily walk and sometimes with my daily inner struggles are
Streams in the Desert--
His Utmost for His Highest--

You can find devotionals in book stores and online.  If you are not currently spending a part of your day with the Lord and are feeling discontent in life, then consider daily devotion and prayer as a way to find peace and build your personal relationship with God.
